Your Local Pipefitters Association in OK

The voices of many are stronger than the voice of one, and that is why unions exist. A union acts as an intermediary between the members and the companies that employ them, making sure that the pay is acceptable and that proper benefits are provided, and negotiating these issues when necessary.

Who We Are

For more than 20 years, United Association Local #430 has been providing service for pipefitters throughout OK state. We have brought together approximately 1,500 of the most skilled and trained journeymen and apprentices in a unified pipefitters union association.

What We Offer

We strive to protect every member, making sure each journeyman or apprentice is receiving a fair wage, health and welfare benefits, a good pension, and work in a safe environment. We will also help you process grievances against unjust actions.

Our pipefitters association also offers a fully certified 5-year training program for apprentices. Our first year of instruction has two sections and goes over items such as job safety and health, heritage, rigging and signaling, the use and care of different types of tools and pipe materials, soldering and brazing, blueprint reading, and related math.

Our third- through fifth-year training includes gas installations, steam systems, refrigeration and air conditioning, mechanical code, and shielded metal-arc, gas tungsten-arc, and micro-wire welding.

When you train with UA Local #430, you can be sure of a quality, comprehensive education on all the skills and knowledge you will need to become a successful pipefitter in any industry.
